Title of your talk: Emotionally Intelligent Wellbeing in The Workplace
Seminar Description: Despite record investment in wellbeing programmes, burnout and disengagement remain high. UK workplaces face a growing blind spot around why wellbeing initiatives fail and sick leave continues to rise. Most wellbeing programmes address either mental or physical health and miss out vital education in how the mind and body are connected. Unlike IQ, which we are born with - EQ is a set of skills we can develop. Improving these skills is how we support wellbeing effectively. Training HR and team leaders in EQ means that warning signs are not missed and conversations about stress and overwhelm are handled correctly.
